Howard Bryant is the Executive Director of Unscripted Development at Meadowlark Media, the production company founded by industry icon John Skipper in 2021. He has been an Executive Producer of Netflix’s The Comeback: 2004 Boston Red Sox, and in 2021 and 2022 was an Executive Producer for HBO’s Emmy-nominated Back on the Record with Bob Costas. He has served as consulting producer on four films directed and/or produced by Ken Burns: Baseball: The Tenth Inning, Hemingway, The U.S. and the Holocaust, and Muhammad Ali. He also consulted on College Behind Bars, directed by Lynn Novick.
He has appeared in several documentaries, including The Comeback, HBO’s Murder in Boston, directed by Jason Hehir, Apple TV’s The Dynasty: The New England Patriots, directed by Matt Hamachek, Jackie Robinson, directed by David McMahon and Sarah Burns, Major League Legends: Hank Aaron, produced by the Smithsonian and Major League Baseball, Venus Versus, directed by Ava DuVernay and Baseball: The Tenth Inning, and Muhammad Ali, both directed by Ken Burns.
